Upon touch down at LAX, we waited patiently and excitedly for the shuttle to bring us to our Park West apartment.

We moved into a two-bedroom apartment with the intention of squeezing 7 people into the apartment but after making some stupid moves, the leasing authorities became somehow suspicious of us having illegal occupants. To cut the long story short, they got us a bigger 3-bedroom apartment so that the 7 of us can be official residents of the place.
So after 2 days of “camping out” in the 2-bedroom apartment, we finally got to move into the fully furnished (and I mean really furnished right down to the smallest details like utensils, towels, complementary shower products…) 3-bedroom apartment.
It’s so damn expensive to live here – freaking US$690 per mth per person – and I feel so spoilt…
See how spoilt we are? I bet not many people on exchange can live so comfortably…
